Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Islands View Inn. By confirming a booking or staying at our property, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in: From 2:00 PM onwards. Early check-in is subject to room availability and may incur an additional fee.

• Check-out: By 12:00 PM (Noon). Late check-outs must be requested in advance and are subject to availability and additional charges.

• Identification: A valid government-issued photo ID or passport is required upon arrival for all staying guests.

2. Payment Policy

• Rates: All rates are quoted in Philippine Pesos (PHP) unless otherwise stated.

• Deposit: A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

• Incidental Deposit: The Inn reserves the right to request a refundable security deposit upon check-in to cover potential damages or incidental charges.

3. Guest Responsibilities & Conduct

• Smoke-Free Policy: For the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms. Designated smoking areas are provided. A cleaning fee of [Insert Amount, e.g., PHP 5,000] will be charged for violations.

• Noise & Nuisance: Please respect your neighbors. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Damages: Guests are held financially responsible for any damage caused to the room, furniture, or hotel property beyond standard wear and tear.

4. Room Occupancy

• The number of guests must not exceed the maximum capacity specified for the booked room type.

• Extra person charges apply for additional guests (subject to availability of extra beds/mattresses).

5. Safety & Valuables

• While we strive to provide a secure environment, Islands View Inn is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of money, jewelry, or other valuables left in the rooms or public areas. Please use the provided in-room safes (if available) or keep valuables with you.

6. Third-Party Services

• The Inn acts as an intermediary for external services such as island-hopping tours, airport shuttles, and boat rentals. We are not liable for any accidents, delays, or service failures caused by these third-party providers.

7. Health & Safety

• Guests must comply with any local health protocols or government mandates in effect during their stay.

8. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Palawan.

At Islands View Inn, we understand that travel plans can change. To ensure we can provide the best service to all our guests, we have established the following policy:

1. Cancellation Timeline

• Full Refund: Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the scheduled check-in date will receive a 100% refund (minus any bank or credit card processing fees).

• Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 3 to 6 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total booking cost.

• No Refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival, or "No Shows," are non-refundable and will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

2. Early Departure

In the event of an early departure (shortening your stay after check-in), the remaining nights are non-refundable.

3. Force Majeure & Weather Conditions

Coron is subject to tropical weather. In the event of official flight cancellations or port closures due to severe weather (typhoons), Islands View Inn will offer:

• A full credit for a future stay (valid for 12 months).

• Or a refund, subject to a small administrative handling fee.

• Note: Documentation from the airline or coast guard may be required.

4. Refund Process

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email. Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
